This position will report up into the Global Controller and will oversee a team of 3 accountants. The ideal candidate will have their CPA and/or Public Accounting Experience, Manufacturing & Inventory Experience, and Mentorship/Managerial experience. Relocation can be provided for the right candidate.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Controller - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.Manage internal and external audits, including audit preparation and follow-up on findings.Oversee general ledger activities and reconcile accounts.Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.Support the Controller with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
