Description

Managing all aspects of the general ledger
Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
Managing all aspects of the general ledger
Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to Corporate Controller.
Assist Corporate Controller with special projects and day to day tasks assigned

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Experience with accounting software - Great Plains experience will be helpful
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
MBA or master's degree (Preferred).
