Job Description

  • Working with other Senior Paralegals and Paralegal Assistants (5-10) on your team
  • Reporting into a Senior Associate and Business Immigration Supervisor
  • Performing a range of case related duties such as drafting email correspondence, letters and documentation to clients, government agencies and colleagues
  • Assisting with drafting and filing applications
  • Compiling and summarizing large quantities of data for clients and managers
  • Learning about various types of immigration matters
  • Gathering and maintaining confidential client contact information
  • Providing status updates to clients and senior level team members
  • Requesting, collecting and filing documents in proper order
  • Updating case management system with client data regularly
  • Meeting assigned deadlines and communicating case progress and status to supervisor
  • Demonstrating flexibility and initiative

The Successful Applicant

  • Someone looking for their foot-in-the-door opportunity into the Legal field
  • Ideally someone that has an interest in Legal
  • Excellent writing and customer service skills and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's
  • Extremely high attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity
  • Extremely proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a team
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and be highly organized
  • Microsoft Office experience and knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
