Job Description

  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others, with a commitment to a workplace of dignity and respect, in compliance with equal employment opportunity standards and regulations.
  • Assist in processing, reconciling, and transmitting semi-monthly payroll for all employees
  • Assist Manager with payroll activities (semi-monthly, multi-state payrolls; payroll tax filings; W2 reconciling and processing, payroll garnishments
  • Assist in processing periodic payroll taxes after each payroll based on state/federal guidelines using ADP
  • Assist in the supervision of the Senior Payroll Coordinator and Data Entry Coordinator
  • Calculate retroactive pay, and assist with input of all salary changes, deductions, etc
  • Assist staff with individual questions about their deductions, with-holdings, 401k contributions or any changes
  • Set up new employees within the payroll system, including benefits information

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting or related discipline preferred
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Working knowledge of payroll, wage and tax laws and regulations required
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Experience with ADP
  • Proficient in Excel
