Job Description

  • Promote strategic and operational functions for volume aggregation and standardization, supplier base optimization, and development of cost-saving synergies across asset classes.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing best practices for indirect procurement processes.
  • Optimize new and existing processes on sourcing and contract management including Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Qualification (RFQ).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), technical expert, and coach for colleagues on compliance with relevant company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, risk, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and requirements.
  • Manage the administrative contract closeout process for all assigned projects.
  • Effectively track workload and complete long and short-term projects.
  • Support the Vice President, Procurement through the development of ad-hoc reports and analyze data as-needed.
  • Review Construction contract documents and ensure all vendor and legal comments have been captured.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent required
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience within Procurement - specifically within Real Estate/Construction services & relevant contract
  • Proficient in MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with e-procurement systems is preferred (Coupa, SAP Ariba_
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and influencing skills, along with effective negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present information effectively to different organizational levels with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and research skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter that execute tasks as needed within the designated timeline for delivery.
