Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will report directly to a Project Manager and support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination from pre‑construction through close‑out
  • Support budget tracking, cost control, and change order management
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams
  • Assist with contract administration, RFIs, submittals, and document control
  • Participate in client meetings and project progress reporting
  • Support quality control, safety compliance, and schedule adherence
  • Gain exposure across interiors, ground‑up, and renovation projects

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager, we are seeking:

  • Experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role
  • Exposure to sectors such as interiors, higher education, healthcare, retail, industrial, or multifamily
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and project workflows
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar)
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into a Project Manager role
