Job Description

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Support in the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts and reports.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and team members to maintain project alignment.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Identify and address any potential project risks or issues proactively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction should have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Banking project experience highly preferred; retail experience acceptable.
  • Ability to manage projects ranging from $500K-$5M.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
