We're in search of an Assistant Project Manager with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong understanding of construction procedures.

Job Description

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
