About Our Client

My client is a fully integrated developer located in St. Louis with a strong presence in the multifamily sector. They have a backlog of work for 2022 already slated with each project averaging between $40M and $60M. They have grown substantially from their inception and due to that growth, they have a need in their project management department for an assistant project manager looking to move into the project manager capacity within 1-2 years. They are divided into 2 divisions- one is their development arm and the other is their construction arm. This role can operate within either division. They have clear cut growth and development plans and pride themselves on long-tenured employees due to an excellent company culture and great work environment.

  • Work with project management team in initial property selection and design phase
  • Attend project meetings with architects, engineers, and internal team
  • Document meeting minutes
  • Participate in bidding, estimating, and client meetings
  • Assist with scheduling, budgeting, material coordination, change orders, and permitting
  • Process documentation on the project
  • Review scopes and schedules
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and field crews where applicable

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years in the construction sector with a general contractor or developer
  • Experience in a project engineer, assistant PM, or similar position
  • Bachelor's in applicable field
  • Multifamily project experience is preferred
  • Estimating experience is a plus
  • Organized
  • Communicative
  • Familiar with building processes
  • Willing to take feedback and utilize it moving forward
