A well-established construction services firm based in the Chicagoland Area is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team. The company specializes in delivering high-quality commercial and industrial construction projects with a focus on safety, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing construction activities.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support procurement and logistics of materials and equipment.
  • Help maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction or project coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
