This client is a well-established General Contractor with a very strong reputation in the Southeast region including LA, MS, and AL. They desire hard-working individuals with experience in heavy civil projects including site development, wastewater, and foundations, This self-perform focused GC offer a wide range of construction planning and management services and are always committed to understanding their client's needs.

Their projects range from $20M - $100M in value and are largely centered around Wastewater and Water Treatment facilities. Job Description

  • Provide project management assistance through completion of projects on time and under budget
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential
  • Help create, review, negotiate, and works with the project team to process the meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and requests for information
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project
  • Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 2 yearsr of heavy civil focused construction experience in a Project Management capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field recommended
  • Team player with a positive and driven attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Desire to further career as a Project Manager
  • OSHA certificaton preferred
