Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the project management team to plan, execute, and close projects on time and within budget.
  • Assisting in the coordination of various project activities, from procurement to construction and closeout.
  • Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Supporting communication with stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate project progress.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Participating in meetings, site visits, and inspections.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of project documentation and records.
  • Utilizing your general contracting experience to enhance project quality and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager- K-12 and Senior Living - DC will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in project management within various sectors, including Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, Library, Multifamily, and Office projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with general contracting (GC) processes and procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred but not required)
