Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 Projects - DC is responsible for:

  • Assist in managing construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the construction of various projects, including apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools (K-12), and universities within the DMV area.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 Projects - DC will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager.
  • Proven experience overseeing at least one ground-up building project with a minimum value of $20 million.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and standards specific to the DMV area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and all MS Office programs.
  • Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Sage 300 Timberline, and Textura preferred.

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
  • Up to 10% bonus potential
  • 20 days PTO plus sick days
