Job Description

  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up K-12 construction projects.
  • Help manage project budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and procurement.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Support in conducting project meetings and preparing progress reports.
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule standards.
  • Learn and contribute to all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction to closeout.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5 years of construction experience, ideally supporting K-12 or other institutional projects.
  • Understanding of ground-up construction processes and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project (or similar software).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and professional development.
