Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of project management while working on unique and impactful projects. You'll support senior team members and help ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Document Control: Prepare, organize, and maintain essential project documents, including contracts, submittals, change orders, and meeting notes.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Site Monitoring: Conduct regular visits to project sites to review progress, confirm adherence to plans and safety protocols, and identify potential issues.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project costs, support financial reporting, and help identify ways to optimize budgets.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify risks and challenges, collaborating with team members to develop and implement solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including design, estimating, and field teams, to achieve project objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • multifamily or K-12 people that is preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive mindset and problem-solving approach with a strong desire to grow and succeed.
