About Our Client
Our client is one of the largest multifamily owner/developers in the country. With development, construction, and property management capabilities - the owner/developer is a true one stop shop when it comes to multifamily construction. The team is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to report into the Project Manager, and will be tasked with helping lead large multifamily projects!
Job Description
- Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
- Dictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or others
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Take part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phase
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forward
- Work with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationships
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule

The Successful Applicant
- 2+ years of Project Engineer or Assistant Project Management experience
- Experience working on multifamily or large commercial construction projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
- Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success
- Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
- Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level

- Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $75,000-$100,000
