With a reputation for excellence and attention to detail, they are seeking a talented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their team and contribute to their portfolio of exceptional residential projects.

Job Description

As Assistant Project Manager (APM), you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Project Managers in overseeing all phases of brownstone and townhome renovation projects, from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate communication among clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Support the development and tracking of project schedules and milestones.
  • Review architectural drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify challenges, and uphold quality standards.
  • Aid in budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management to ensure projects remain on time and within scope.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction, ideally focused on high-end residential projects such as brownstones or townhomes.
  • Proficiency in construction processes, project management software, and scheduling tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
