About Our Client

Our client is a respected Owner's Representative firm specializing in commercial construction projects throughout Brooklyn. They are known for their client-focused approach, ensuring projects meet deadlines, stay on budget, and align with the client's vision. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join an Owner's Representative team in Brooklyn, working on high-profile commercial construction projects. In this role, you will support senior project managers in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by acting as the liaison between the client and contractors, overseeing quality, budget, and schedule.

Job Description

  • Assist senior project managers in overseeing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Coordinate between clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and project progression.
  • Assist in monitoring budgets, schedules, and contracts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to the project scope.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to project status, budget updates, and risks.
  • Support project teams with administrative tasks, including meeting coordination, scheduling, and client communication.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction project management or coordination.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to support senior staff while managing multiple priorities.
