About Our Client

Our client is a progressive company that is offering a ton of room for growth with junior employees. As of right now the currently have 65 people in the office and are looking to expand because of their strong pipeline of projects. Some of the work they do includes: multifamily, commercial, and dispensaries. In fact the majority of their projects right now are dispensaries and they work closely with the developers of the projects.

Job Description

  • The Assistant Project Manager will have opportunity to learn about all different areas of construction
  • Maintain work flow and strong relations with subs
  • Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
  • Coordinate subcontractors, daily project paperwork, review and adhere to project schedule
  • Maintain daily reports to submit to Project Manager and or Prime contractor daily
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal and other requirements
  • Maintain project photos of all phases and features of work
  • Maintain entire job site in neat and orderly manner
  • Assure good housekeeping practices are employed in all areas

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical
  • Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
