Job Description

  • Assist in the detailed planning and coordination of construction projects.
  • Actively participate in project meetings and monitor project progress.
  • Manage and oversee project documentation.
  • Liaise and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project budget and schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Assist in the resolution of any arising issues or challenges on the construction site.
  • Support the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Assistant Project Manager' should have:

  • Ground up residential construction experience, ideally high-rise.
  • Commutable to all 5 boroughs and neighboring markets like Westchester and Northern New Jersey.
  • A strong educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and coordinate effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the property and construction industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation.
