Job Description

  • Property Maintenance and Operations: Ensuring the property is well-maintained, which involves coordinating repairs, conducting regular property inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Tenant Relations: Acting as a liaison between tenants and property management, addressing tenant concerns or complaints, and ensuring lease agreements are being upheld. This could also include handling requests for maintenance or services.
  • Financial Reporting and Budgeting: Supporting the preparation of operating budgets, managing operating expenses, assisting with rent collection, and tracking payment delinquencies. They may also be responsible for preparing reports on financial performance
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicating effectively with property owners, tenants, and contractors, and ensuring that all relevant information is documented and relayed promptly.

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant Experience: Typically, 1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or real estate operations is preferred.
  • Education: A degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is ideal, though relevant experience can substitute.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: A good understanding of commercial real estate, leases, and property management processes.
  • Detail-Oriented: The ability to keep track of multiple tasks, deadlines, and documentation is essential.
  • Time Management: Handling various responsibilities (tenant relations, lease administration, repairs) requires excellent time management and prioritization skills.
