Our client is looking for an organized Assistant Superintendent to turn over amenities and monitor and maintain construction schedules. The Assistant Superintendent is also responsible for making sure that health and safety guidelines are followed on site.

Job Description

  • Assisting the Senior team members in running/managing project focusing on back end of project
  • Overseeing Subcontractors and full construction project on a daily bases
  • Coordinating subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods
  • Establishing and maintaining an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project
  • Enforcing a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience in Construction
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Must have experience running $50M+ projects as the Assistant Superintendent or Project Engineer
  • Experience working with a developer/builder is preferred
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project)
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
  • Strong management ability
