Description

  • Assist Superintendent and help in any way possible.
  • Manage job site safety, quality, and schedule projects from pre-construction to close.
  • Supervise contractor work.
  • Check site for trash, OHSA concerns and Erosion control.
  • Conduct Safety Meeting every week and go over Schedule with Sub-contractors.
  • Coordinate with building inspections.
  • Punch out finished units.
  • Installation of mailboxes, bike racks, signage, etc. (when not contracted out to subs).
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman, or equivalent role, in the construction industry.
  • Degree in Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Candidates must have an understanding of the construction industry, safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and dependability.
  • Must be willing to travel 100% of the time.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak and interpret rules, procedures, routine reports/correspondence and to speak effectively with groups of employees and/or residents.
  • Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compare rate, ratio and percentages and interpret basic graphs.
