About Our Client

Our client is a well established investment banking firm made up of a diverse group of working professionals both in the US and overseas. While the firm is global and only growing, our client takes pride in the close knit nature of its employees and fosters a sense of community. Our client is seeking a Assistant VP to join the NYC team and help manage the talent across the firm.

Job Description

  • Manage employee performance as well as development across the firm
  • Assist in training and development programs
  • Performance coaching/talent review
  • Be the source for employee relations issues
  • Educate on diversity and inclusions initiatives
  • Collaborate with other teams in order to support growth and talent acquisition
  • Assist with general HR management duties

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 plus years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on talent management
  • Employee relations/People management experience
  • Must come from a banking/finance background
  • HR Certifications is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Must have a positive attitude and is confident working in a fast paced environment
