This individual does not need to bring many years of experience, but needs to have the eagerness to learn and grow in the space as a Superintendent.

About Our Client

We are partnered with a well-established General Contractor local to Indianapolis, having over 50 years of successful business throughout Indiana. They operate as a full-service general contractor with a development team, construction team, and property services team. They work on a variety of diverse projects with their bread and butter being in warehouse/distribution centers and multifamily projects. All projects are local & they really value family time and that work-life balance making sure employees get to their homes every afternoon.

Job Description

  • Walk the job site alongside a Superintendent & check in with subcontractors
  • Monitor and assist in the daily construction schedule
  • Help supervise all field work by managing trades and subs
  • Coordinate with the Project Managers and other Superintendents
  • Help create a 3-6 week look-ahead schedule to plan upcoming tasks
  • Occasionally assist in the preconstruction planning

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Project Engineer
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationsis a plus
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management is a plus
  • Ability to work with clients and subcontractors
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the space
