This role sits within their very collaborative HR team and will be in office in Downtown Manhattan on a hybrid basis.Job DescriptionServe as the primary point of contact for union representatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on all labor-related matters.Manage a high volume of grievances, arbitrations, and disciplinary cases, ensuring timely and equitable resolution.Partner with legal counsel to provide recommendations on complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues.Lead negotiations and manage collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.Design and implement strategies to enhance labor relations, mitigate risk, and support organizational goals.Conduct training for HR and management teams on labor relations best practices and compliance with labor laws.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment and labor regulations to ensure organizational compliance.Collaborate with HR leadership to align labor relations strategies with broader organizational priorities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
