Job Description

  • Assist clients in understanding and complying with U.S. and international trade regulations.
  • Provide counsel on export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, reports, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients on trade compliance programs and policies.
  • Support investigations and audits related to trade compliance matters.
  • Advise on trade-related litigation and enforcement actions.
  • Stay updated on changes in global trade laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality legal services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the District of Columbia or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to client service and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
