About Our Client

A well‑established, Atlanta‑based commercial general contractor recognized for delivering high‑quality retail and commercial projects across the Southeast is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This company has built a reputation for consistency, long‑standing client relationships, and a strong portfolio spanning retail, big‑box developments, grocery stores, and fuel centers.

Job Description

  • Manage ground‑up construction projects from pre‑construction through close‑out.
  • Oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to support superintendents and address field challenges.
  • Lead weekly project meetings and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience managing ground‑up retail construction projects.
  • Proven background in big‑box retail, grocery stores, and/or gas station construction.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Effective communicator with a proactive and solutions‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across the Southeast.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide field teams and maintain project momentum.
