They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced Automation Engineer to help drive smart manufacturing solutions and industrial automation forward.Job DescriptionDesign and implement control systems for custom machinery, including PLC programming, HMI development, and motion control.Collaborate on cross-functional projects from concept to commissioning, including mechanical design integration, electrical panel design, and software logic.Support the development of automated processes for heat exchanger assembly and related manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot and optimize automated systems in both production and R&D environments.Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).Ensure all automation solutions meet industry safety and quality standards.Provide technical documentation, user manuals, and training to clients and internal teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
