Description
- Ladder logic and statement programming, debugging and troubleshooting
- HMI development and upgrades of new and current systems
- Systems integration
- Develop electrical circuits and back panel layouts for our company products.
- Design new product features, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
- Participate in product start-up.
- Develop manuals and training materials for equipment
The Successful Applicant
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent training and experience) and a minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing the skills listed above
- Food Processing industry experience
- Packaging line design, integration, & implementation
- Electrical drafting utilizing AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
- Project Management
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise in programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley, Micrologix, CompactLogix), HMI's, motion control, PC control. Commonly used programming languages include: Allen Bradley RS 500 & 5000 Logix software, Factory Talk and Automation Direct software.
- Superior technical ability and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and desire to work in a dynamic work environment with multiple demands
- Team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with lead and supervisor.
