Given the expansion, there are many future opportunities for advancement.Job DescriptionThe position reports into the R&D Manager and is responsible for: Designing and manufacturing automated systems for high-performance thermoplastics.Conducting research and development of advanced automation concepts.Initiating and managing capital equipment projects, from justification to implementation.Integrating custom automation into manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and throughput.Assembling, testing, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and systems.Communicating effectively with internal and external contacts, addressing technical needs promptly.Collaborating on customer projects through the product lifecycle, from R&D to production support.Supporting product qualification processes and generating technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and work instructions.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
