This bank is based in midtown Manhattan and operates a hybrid flexible work schedule.Job DescriptionThe team is responsible for legal entity controllership of multiple entities, including the U.S. holding company, a banking subsidiary and a leasing subsidiary, under CFO organization. Deliverables for the team include, but not limited to, audited financial statements, statutory reports, head-office reports and management reports.SummaryThe position is to support management and team members for preparation and presentation of financial reports and other reports, system automation, workflow enhancements and other ad-hoc projects, and requires advanced knowledge of/experiences in financial reporting as well as understanding of the financial industry.Core Responsibilities:Prepare and review assigned reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAPInteract with financial accounting teams for the U.S. subsidiaries and create consolidated financial informationSupport maintenance of strong internal control in the team for sound practice and in response to the expectations of management, internal/external auditors and examinersEngage in ad-hoc projects in finance areaMaintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements and provide solutions to changes in requirements and other related mattersSolve other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basisMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
