Job Description

  • Project Oversight & Management: Enable and shepherd execution of regulatory submissions.
  • Provide oversight through the development and maintenance of books of work
  • Negotiate with other workstreams as needed to ensure that due dates are achievable and agreed upon by all parties
  • Update deliverable completion status on a weekly basis
  • Ensure that metrics reported are consistent; proactively identify and solve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in developing materials and agendas for regular touchpoint meetings
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program status
  • Team Communications. Be a high-impact communicator within and across relevant teams, providing context to leaders and stakeholders, so that they are informed, empowered to make good decisions, and solve problems.
  • Serve as a liaison between Treasury Workstream and the Central RRP and PMO teams
  • Ensure proactive management of deliverables such that risks/ issues are escalated promptly to allow for timely remediation and delivery of the program as scheduled
  • Cross-functional Facilitation: Develop trust across the team, synthesize multiple points of view, and build consensus on strategic direction; all in an impartial and professional way.
  • Business Operations: Align processes to the big-picture strategy. Help organize and manage priorities, projects, decisions, and actions critical to the success of the group.
  • Identify processes for improvement and participate in process reengineering efforts
  • Identify and remediate areas of inconsistency

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in financial services with an emphasis on planning, project management, governance, or overall implementation of programs and initiatives and measuring their overall effectiveness
  • Familiarity with financial services regulatory environment is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; or similar professional experience/Liberal Arts Bachelor's degree coupled with background in project management
  • A passion for working in a cross-functional environment with a demonstrated ability to work with a range of partners across the organization to handle expectations and drive alignment
  • A highly collaborative approach -- you care less about who did it than how it got done. You take deep pride in shared outcomes, and you really believe the whole is greater than the sum of the parts when it comes to team efforts
  • Great follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task - you love to close the loop!
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills -- an ability to break down a problem into the most critical parts and facilitate good decision making
  • A knack for structured and analytical thinking -- an ability to connect the dots between many disparate pieces of information to understand the full picture, and explain it simply
  • A love of driving alignment - leaving personal agenda at the door. Serve as an ambassador and seek to facilitate conversations and decision-making processes to drive alignment across the larger RRP function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, i.e., ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
  • Power Point and Excel experience. SharePoint experience preferred; Wdesk (Workiva) experience a plus.
