About Our Client

The company's building the first compliant ecosystem for digital asset securities (blockchain securities). This position will join the company's technology team, to build and manage tools for Investors, Broker Dealers, Blockchain Validators, and other network participants.

Description

The main responsibilities are:

Working with technical leadership and other developers to implement post-trade settlement functionality within our NodeJS-based back end architecture
Working with internal and external parties to integrate with blockchain systems and APIs as well as the FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol
Building, leading and maintaining multi-layer, services-oriented applications for settlements, payments

The Successful Applicant

The main qualifications are:

Expert in JavaScript, React.js, jQuery
Expert with modern REST APIs.
Expert in technical monolith \ microservices architecture \ event driven architecture
Experience with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes is ideal
Continuous improvement to processes and practices with new ideas, concepts, methods, and technologies
Experience through all phases of a typical software development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably with agile methods like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
Integrating the company's solutions with partner systems using a variety of protocols
Managed Technical Teams through influence, mentoring, discussion, and example rather than relying on authority
Experience in development of automated unit, component, and integration testing
Experience with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, etc.), a plus.
Knowledge in GO is a plus
Knowledge of SQL, MYSQL and non-relational databases
Working knowledge of design patterns
Knowledge JSON as well as POSTMAN for testing
Experience with transaction flow \ management* Knowledge of Azure & Amazon Web Services (AWS) Backend services is a huge plus
