You will find them to be unusually collegial, team-oriented, and ready to innovate.Job DescriptionMust have legal experienceGather and analyze market research and analysis on targets/sectors and identify areas of opportunity and action plans, including research on current clientsOversee Projects BD activities to ensure objectives are met; including, but not limited to, client development, profile raising, marketing and communications, pitching and event managementManage the Projects marketing budgetConnect the practice group lawyers with the global, regional, sector and domestic key client program and drive realization of opportunitiesMaintain awareness of relevant global and local marketing products (e.g. from sector or regional programs) which can be used for client development and dialogueProject management of bids, including; provide input on approach, team formations; draft, create, review and edit content; manage document development where necessary; ensure adherence to branding requirements; ensure adherence to pricing proceduresEnsure follow-up is sought from client post pitch; track and act on actions which arise; assess how feedback can be used to drive behavioral changeMonitor panel appointments and drive realization of opportunities presentedDevelop high quality content to convey positioning, experience and value proposition messages,Analyze win/lose rates and make recommendations as to how to improve performance Ensure the practice experience content is up-to-date and representative of the firm's best workSystematically manage league table and directory submissions and measure performance; agree target rankings with team leads for the Projects team; facilitate contribution to league tables and directories; report on change in rankings and against targets set; refine approach as neededEnsure the Projects brand is compliant and adopt the visual identity to deliver consistent materials to marketEnsure all communications channels convey consistent messaging (including but not limited to web, podcasts, collateral, bids, experience statements, directories, league tables, CVs)Identify and coordinate sponsorships, conferences or speaking opportunities that raise the group's overall profileManage contributions and input into business development systems including InterAction (CRM), bids and CV databases for supporting initiatives such as bids, events, client intelligence, experience statement compilation, league table and legal directory submissionsIntegrate the use of these systems into all activity according to best practiceMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
