About Our Client

Our client is a well established and international law firm. The firm specializes in many practices, some of which include Finance, Real Estate, and Capital Markets. Our client has offices across the world located in places like LA, London, Tokyo, and more. However, its headquarters are located in NYC where they are looking for a skilled Benefits Analyst to join their team.

Job Description

  • Overseeing of benefit enrollment as well as the auditing process for Health and Welfare and Wellness vendors
  • Benefits bill tracking log
  • Use Workday to process Partner payroll benefits deductions
  • Assist in the preparation of retirement packages
  • Support with various wellness initiatives (flu shots, blood drives, etc)
  • Test new benefits in Workday
  • Assist with the Partner retiree billing
  • Responsible for premium payment administration and reconciliation
  • Data reconciliation of health plan 5500's
  • Support customer service phone line and email for the benefits department
  • Annual budget reporting for the department

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree/degree with an emphasis or specialization in HR or related fields
  • 5 years of benefits administration background
  • Experience in Excel, Word, HRIS (specifically Workday)
  • Team player with a great attitude
  • Organized, problem solver, strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of IRS qualified plans, self insured health plans, and other benefit plans
  • Analytic experience
  • Must be able to handle confidential information
