About Our Client

Our client is an AMLaw Top 100 Firm. They are currently looking to add an additional Billing Coordinator to their growing NY team.

Job Description

  • Serving as a liaison between their assigned attorneys and the Billing Department
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in all billing matters
  • Coordinating the monthly distribution of pre-bills to partners for review and revisions
  • Monitoring the completion of suggested revisions and finalization of invoices
  • Analyzing invoices to ensure compliance with Firm policies and client guidelines
  • Generating WIP, AR and On-Account reports
  • Answering billing inquiries
  • Resolving billing issues

The Successful Applicant

Successful Billing Specialist candidates should have at least 5 years of Legal Billing experience, ideally have exposure to Elite, Aderant or 3E billing software (but not required), and exposure to ebilling.
