They have partnered exclusively with Michael Page Boston to secure their next Bookkeeper/ Office Admin.Job DescriptionDue to continued growth, a Bookkeeper/ Office Admin opportunity has arisen to support a boutique financial services business in Beverly, MA. This is a role that is designed for someone who is looking to secure their next role in a stable, high performing and collaborative office environment where discretion, intellectual curiosity and having the ability to roll up one's sleeves and get involved at all levels, is highly valued.Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:Support accounting with accounts payable and receiptsHelp scan deposits to bank account and identify which trust accounts to creditAssist with putting together excel spreadsheets for importing into accounting systemOrganize files for private equity, disbursement backup and cash receipts for entry into accounting systemAssist with overseeing life insurance policies, which includes paying bills on time, tracking 1035 exchanges and help ensure that the accounting system is up to date with latest valuationsBill pay in QuickBooksManage and maintain day to day office activities and provide general administrative support (ordering supplies, managing phone lines, copying, faxing, filing)Oversee mailings, including sorting and distributing incoming mail, send outgoing mail, preparing packagesServe as a liaison /in-house coordinator to the external contractorsCoordinate meeting logistics (Board meeting)Help to maintain shared spaces (specifically reception, kitchen, conference room and supply room)Help organize office lunches, summer outing, Christmas Party etc.This opportunity is Retained and Exclusive to Michael Page Boston.
