Job Description
- Understanding of vendor platforms required. R&N, Clearing Calypso, ALGO etc.
- Understand margin impact with respect to respect to Breaks, trade amendments and settlement fails and discrepancies.
- Review and fund daily margin calls to CCP's including ICE, CME and LCH.
- Manage margin calls to end clients. Book client settlements, transfers, journals, foreign exchange transactions.
- Ensure margin calls are met promptly and in accordance with all rules and regulations.
- Review and confirm all required seg/sec origin transfers are captured and booked.
- Perform Top day checks to ensure all margin is booked and all settlements and origin transfers are settled at the bank
- Coordinate funding and collateral allocation/optimization with the business and Balance sheet management

The Successful Applicant
- Experience in exchange traded derivatives or OTC derivatives is highly desirable
- Understanding of regulatory environment within the Futures business
- Proficient with Excel, Power Point, and databases
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Strong risk assessment, control and testing skills
- Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments on timely basis
The ideal candidate should possess an adequate understanding of the operational environment of a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). The role requires understanding of settlement systems such as SWIFT, Fed, DTC etc. The candidate should possess adequate understanding of the rules and regulations governing the margining of the FCM.
Experience and knowledge in Listed Derivatives Exchange and OTC products are required.
