Job Description

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Generate new business in industrial, academic, and government sectors through direct engagement and project management.
  • Manage sales pipelines and close business opportunities.
  • Align customer needs with the organization's services and products.
  • Share market intelligence with technical support and marketing teams.
  • Conduct customer visits and attend conferences to build relationships and meet sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with technical support and project management for business expansion.
  • Develop a network of references to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Provide timely customer support and coordinate with internal resources.
  • Lead webinars and innovation meetings to engage clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree or higher in a life sciences field.
  • 1-5 years of relevant sales experience with strong technical knowledge.
  • Preferred understanding of the biological, CRO, or CDMO markets.
  • Strong team player with good analytical and time management skills.
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Action-oriented and able to work independently with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across different regions and departments.
