Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's commercial strategy and achieve the expected sales and turnover targets, satisfying customer requests within the limits of business process efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Prepare an area plan, guiding agencies in the Houston area to achieve the objectives and market shares defined, acquiring new customers, inserting new agencies in the areas that require it.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions and strategies that meet the needs of key clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue upselling or cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews and performance reports to key clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential threats or opportunities within key accounts.
  • Develop and implement account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key clients, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics), or Bachelor's in Science (Business) with at least 3 years of Safety Industry experience.
  • Proven experience in key account management or sales, preferably in the Safety Instrumentation industry].
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable presenting to C-Suite & Leadership professionals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
