Job Description

Reporting to senior leadership, the Business Development Manager will drive market expansion across Texas, developing new relationships and strengthening existing ones.

  • Build and execute business development strategies to win commercial projects
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across industrial, retail, grocery, and mission‑critical sectors
  • Meet with clients and prospects to secure work and deepen long‑term partnerships
  • Conduct market research to uncover emerging pipelines
  • Collaborate with internal project teams to position competitive solutions
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Contribute to building a growing Dallas office and broader regional footprint

The Successful Applicant

For the Business Development Manager, we are seeking:

  • 3-5+ years of business development experience within commercial construction
  • Background in sectors such as retail, grocery, big-box, light industrial, or distribution centers
  • Strong network within the Dallas big box retail/light industrial construction market
  • Proven ability to build pipelines and win repeat business
  • Degree in construction, architecture, engineering, or related discipline
  • Highly proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable working in a ground-up environment
