Job Description

Analyze complex data sets, ensure data accuracy, and utilize SQL, Python, and visualization tools to extract, manipulate, and present insights.
Implement data automation strategies and support data quality initiatives to improve data integrity and efficiency.
Employ Agile methodologies, collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence), and best practices like Design Thinking to enhance product development and delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project progress, and manage expectations with senior management.
Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges, recommend best practices, and provide innovative solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Must Haves:

Undergraduate degree required, with 7+ years of relevant experience and 3+ years in Project Management, Product Ownership, Testing Practices, or Agile delivery.
Extensive knowledge of payment data, canonical models, and payment data mapping, as well as SWIFT messages and ISO20022 formats.
Familiarity with payment systems such as Canada Lynx, US CHIPS, and FedWire, and non-wire payment methods like drafts and checks.
Understanding of regulatory reporting (e.g., AML, fraud detection) and deposit sub-ledger capabilities, with expertise in accounts like Nostro, Vostro, and corporate customer integration.

Plusses:

Certifications like PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are considered assets
Proficient in MS Office and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
Consulting and / or strategy experience preferred, demonstrating problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective stakeholder management.
Tier 1 bank or financial institution experience preferred
