The team is responsible for the firm's Payment Modernization Program, handling projects related to regulatory, cybersecurity, payment products, and infrastructure to support over $5 trillion in daily payments.

Job Description

  • Analyze complex data sets, ensure data accuracy, and utilize SQL, Python, and visualization tools to extract, manipulate, and present insights.
  • Implement data automation strategies and support data quality initiatives to improve data integrity and efficiency.
  • Employ Agile methodologies, collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence), and best practices like Design Thinking to enhance product development and delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project progress, and manage expectations with senior management.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges, recommend best practices, and provide innovative solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Must Haves:

  • Undergraduate degree required, with 7+ years of relevant experience and 3+ years in Project Management, Product Ownership, Testing Practices, or Agile delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of payment data, canonical models, and payment data mapping, as well as SWIFT messages and ISO20022 formats.
  • Familiarity with payment systems such as Canada Lynx, US CHIPS, and FedWire, and non-wire payment methods like drafts and checks.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting (e.g., AML, fraud detection) and deposit sub-ledger capabilities, with expertise in accounts like Nostro, Vostro, and corporate customer integration.



Plusses:

  • Certifications like PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are considered assets
  • Proficient in MS Office and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Consulting and / or strategy experience preferred, demonstrating problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective stakeholder management.
  • Tier 1 bank or financial institution experience preferred
