Business Unit Controller

• 
  
  Lead all plant-level financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and management of P&L, CAPEX, and working capital.
• 
  
  Partner with operations to align financial targets with production planning, inventory management, and cost control initiatives.
• 
  
  Oversee cost accounting in a job-cost, percentage-of-completion revenue environment.
• 
  
  Develop and enhance reporting tools to provide actionable insights into overhead spending, production performance, and cost drivers.
• 
  
  Conduct detailed variance analysis on product cost standards vs. actuals and recommend corrective actions.
• 
  
  Support capital investment planning, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and post-implementation performance tracking.
• 
  
  Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, particularly related to revenue recognition and inventory costing.
• 
  
  Partner with IT to improve ERP utilization and strengthen reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• 
  
  Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits.
• 
  
  Proactively identify financial risks and implement solutions before issues escalate.
