Job Description

The Carbon Capture - Strategic Development Manager - Houston will directly support the Development and Origination Leadership team in sector specific research, opportunity origination, valuation and execution. Responsible for the creation and delivery of analysis that enables data-driven, informed decision-making in complex, new and changing business environments and will have the below responsibilities:

  • Implement market penetration strategies
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing products and services
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiate transaction agreements with customers/ counterparties.
  • Oversee proposal development and customer presentations
  • Develop and expand industry relationships to advance market presence and project development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years demonstrated success in energy project development.
  • Leadership skills, advanced business acumen and strong negotiation skills required.

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate for the Carbon Capture - Strategic Development Manager - Houston role will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a related technical field; MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years professional experience with strong quantitative and analysis background
  • Leadership skills, advanced business acumen and strong negotiation skills required.
