Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership, driving growth and profitability while balancing the interests of General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs). This executive will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, from capital investment and underwriting to development and business operations. As a visible, public-facing leader, the CEO will represent the firm to key stakeholders, community leaders, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital investment strategies to maximize GP profit while considering LP interests, market conditions, and company resources.
  • Oversee comprehensive company operations, ensuring profitability through fee revenue and managing growth initiatives.
  • Serve as a public-facing executive for stakeholder relations and community engagement.
  • Facilitate continuous communication with the Board of Directors, leveraging committees for strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise investment underwriting modeling, ensuring a strong understanding of risk-reward dynamics.
  • Oversee legal, accounting, and compliance efforts to align with company growth and financial goals.
  • Lead business development initiatives, focusing on capital outreach, market expansion, and long-term growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record in real estate development, capital markets, or investment management with executive-level leadership experience ideally in a firm that has scaled operations.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with financial modeling, capital allocation, and business model design.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with experience in public-facing leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal, tax, and accounting environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a hands-on, visible leadership style.

What's on Offer

Strong base salary in the $300,000 - $375,000 range plus additional short and long term incentives tied to profitability and successful project deliveries.
