Job Description

The Chemical Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize chemical processes for electronic products, focusing on materials selection, surface treatment, and environmental compliance.
  • Design and implement chemical processes, including cleaning, coating, etching, and plating processes, to meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions to resolve chemical-related problems and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and cost analyses to evaluate chemical alternatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Day to day analysis of all wet chemical processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Strong technical expertise in chemical processes, materials science, and environmental regulations
  • Experience with process simulation software, chemical analysis techniques, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and hazardous materials management applicable to chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
