Employees benefit from stability, long-term career paths, and a highly skilled engineering and production environment.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Develop strong working knowledge of all assigned chemical processes, equipment, and operating parametersMaintain and update process documentation, including PFDs, operating conditions, flow rates, compositions, and QC test requirementsPerform daily process monitoring using batch sheetsParticipate directly in hands-on operation of plant equipment and support safe operating conditionsReview completed batch sheets with operators and recommend improvementsTrain and guide operators on troubleshooting, best practices, process safety, and optimized production methodsConduct off-shift visits to meet with 2nd and 3rd shift teams as neededAttend engineering and production meetings; coordinate routine and project maintenanceSupport PHAs and propose process improvements related to quality, safety, waste reduction, and operabilityWrite and review Engineering Change Notices (ECNs); manage small-scale projectsCollaborate with design engineering on larger capital projectsHelp maintain Standard Operating Instructions (startup, operating, shutdown procedures)MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
