They are very actively looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to support a variety of Federal Projects in the area.Job DescriptionAs the Estimator you will:Review Project Documents: Analyze drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project scope.Prepare Cost Estimates: Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs using estimation tools.Bid Coordination: Develop and submit comprehensive bid proposals with accurate pricing.Subcontractor and Supplier Outreach: Solicit and evaluate bids to ensure competitive and complete pricing.Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and intent.Risk Analysis: Assess potential project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.Collaboration: Work with project managers, architects, and engineers to align estimates with goals.Market Analysis: Monitor material, labor, and market trends to adjust cost projections.Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates, assumptions, and project correspondence.Post-Bid Review: Analyze completed projects to refine future estimates and improve accuracy.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
