Job Description

  • Oversee all on-site activities for heavy industrial and wastewater and utlity projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Inspection Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate inspections by regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent
  • Extensive experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical civil and building practices and concepts
  • Superior organization skills, ability to make independent decisions and multi-task
  • CSL or willingness to obtain within one year of hire date
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's License
  • OSHA 30
